I knew I was in trouble when...

the Squink fell sound asleep at 9:30... because he woke up at 5:30.

So, it looks like we may be moving, in state, and am frankly petrified about this.

Why, you may ask?

1. It would be during August (average temp is 115F)
2. I have the Squink to worry about
3. The house is old and there is that lead based paint thing
4. It needs a bit of work
...

Oh, I can go on and on...

But is there any advice for me on how to make this a smoother transition, if it does indeed happen?

  1. so in other words you do not want to move. Enjoy the summer with your baby. Your health is more important and your baby is only a baby for a short time.
Get some inspirational magazines and create a whole new space in your house. Now that would be a fun project.

  3. I think it's natural to be apprehensive about a big step like that, even if you want it. Not that I know anything about this, but jsut be careful with the lead paint and have tons of help. Sound good?

  4. Hi,
I stumbled onto your blog and read the whole thing. Great blog. I have twin borns at 29 weeks. Did the cerclage and the bedrest and spent 2 months in the NICU. They will be 3 next week (totally fine and quite crazed). It sounds like you are doing an amazing job.

  5. Is there any asbestos abatement in a residence experience out there?

  6. I'd suggest that sounds like a job for a professional.

    Glad you enjoyed Mother's Day.
It's on a different day here in the UK. I wonder why that is.

  8. As for moving, babies are very resilient and will feel "at home" again very quickly. My suggestion is to move the baby's room OUT LAST and IN FIRST. Also, try to keep to your usual daily schedule as much as possible.

Your comment is awaiting moderation, it was just easier to go this route than to have those insane word verification boxes that are shockingly hard to read!

It should show up in the comments shortly, thank you for commenting!
