A friend told me the other day:
Guilt - the jewish (happy new year BTW) invented it, the catholics perfected it and the mormons marketed it...
OK. Having said that...
Squink fell last night!
I feel tremendous guilt, though he has nary a bruise on him! It was awful and it is shocking how these sort of things can happen.
Oy vey, saints preserve me!
I am definitely glad to hear the Squink is okay; hope you aren't still feeling too badly about it. I won't offer any platitudes, I know this stuff is bound to happen. But with as talented a child as he is, hopefully it won't be too often!
ReplyDeletedid he fall from the bed or something?
ReplyDeleteif its not serious, I guess its ok. children somehow or the other, always end up hurting themselves.
take this as a blessing in disguise, I bet you'd be more careful next time!
kiss him for me!!
Ack! Glad he's ok.

My sister has two little boys so I know Nettie is right; this stuff is bound to happen occassionally. Little boys are very sturdy little chaps though. Glad the Squink is OK.
ReplyDeleteRandom but true fact: my nephews are now 3 and 5 years old. They were both born on the 1st October, but two years apart. (I've actually just been to their birthday party). As they get older, I think it's going to be a surprise for them to discover that brothers don't normally have their birthdays on the same day.
