However, I have read about some recommendations from the lovely and thoughtful and impressive yarnstrom... and went out and bought some Alain de Botton and must say that IFF I were a male, I would want to be him... and that is only after reading one book, the one in the middle called "On Love". A fabulous exploration on the love of eros (as opposed to philia, agape, thelema, and storge) though in a way all forms are discussed. I hope that the beauty of his writing continues. I mean how often does a treatise on love include Nietzsche, Hobbes and Proust?
I have a few more to go in that pile on the right, two of which are his.
