"Whenever you are mean, your heart gets smaller".
So, intrigued I asked: "What happens to your heart when you are nice?"
Squink: "It get's bigger. But you don't want your heart to disappear, so be nicer".
Reminds me of when he was very small and Christopher peered in after dropping him at day care. His little boy -- maybe not yet walking -- had moved to a little girl who was distressed and he began comforting her.
I think children tend to give what they get, which is a really lovely reflection on Squink's family.
