A "Where I'm From" poem....

The dust from the births and deaths of many stars.

The quarks and strings that play the finest melody for my ears alone.

The mortal coil which has no beginning and knows no end.

The result of a long line of those who made choices, successful choices, to bring and raise a child into this world.

The product of parents who chose adventure.

The love of a land of green patchwork mountains, fences that grow, golden ears corn, marvelous potatoes, endless varieties of fruits, and a part of the world that is high enough to touch the heavens.

(The goal: To compose a "Where I'm From" poem that represents one's own biography in prose with at least 6 different stanzas.
