An open letter to my mother.

Mom,

Thank you.

Sometimes, I think William of Ockham had it right. To tell you "thank you" without defining all that for which I am thankful to you for seems so much more appropriate and true. To set it with the limitations of all that you have done for me does not do my gratitude for you and your actions any justice as they were always so much more than that.
