The previous ones were mostly about the path I had walked
This one is about the things I want to do. They call them A Bucket List for some reason, though I am inclined to think it is something to do before you "kick the bucket".
For a few months now I have been carrying around a list on my phone where I can jot down the ideas as they come to me.
Sadly, it is still rather short.
Here is what I have so far:
- Visit a lighthouse (Inspired by a friend who sent me a picture of one)
- Go to Tunisia
Knowingly hear a sonic boom, and recognize it as such.- View a maritime Aurora Borealis (meaning while I am on the ocean, someone once told me that it looks like the light bounces off the surface of the ocean)
- View any Aurora Borealis
- Visit the Great Mosque of Djenné in Mali
So, what prompted me to tell you I am doing this... I realized, recently, that I had two things coming up which I was so excited about doing that they too belonged on my list. So, here are those:
Be a judge a science fair(more about why this is crossed out on the next post tomorrow)- Stay in a yurt
So, I have decided to start making these dreams a little more public.
In addition to the SQOTD (Squinky quote of the day), there will now be BLIOTD (Bucket list item of the day). And for the record, I am taking suggestions... and I am not limiting myself to falling on either side having 100 items... So, tell me; what, based on how you think you know me, should I consider adding to my all too short list above?

There are places in the upper part of Michigan that are said to have the most amazing Aurora Borealis views. Here is a link to one beautiful picture.

I've always dreamed of visiting to see them myself. I think we should plan a trip up there, I've heard the upper peninsula of Michigan is just amazingly beautiful.
