Making sand castles
It was a lovely fall day!
We took the Squink to the park and played in the sand. Since it is often on the warmer side here we went to the one that has a water spout in the middle of the sand pit. We taught him how to make a sand castle, which he devoted non stop attention to for over 45 minutes. As a matter of fact, we had to force him to leave, he probably would have spent more time making them.
We lured him away just as the local trolley stopped at the park, so we climbed aboard and rode the neighborhood circuit as well as the downtown one.
When we got home we did a little around the house and I made some of the best grilled ham and cheese sandwiches ever!
All in all it was a rather enjoyable and relaxed day.
I needed it.

Eats shoots and leaves
- 1) I try daily not to cast stones.
- 2) I fail in accomplishing aforementioned statement daily.
- 3) double negative are probably the only things that irritate me in spoken English. (they don't bother me in Spanish, but they are acceptable there).
- 4) I actually love to find grammatical and/or spelling errors.
- 4a) They make me smile when they are funny.
- 4b) It is nice to be reminded that I am not the only one out there with similar KSA's.
So, I was sitting in front of my computer this beautiful fall morning reading my not so new obsession (food blogs - over 500 in my reader) and found this lovely gem;
the possibilities are endless...
