Nah, it's not just you. I think there's way too much faux architecture going up everywhere, which is a tribute to the impoverished imaginations of developers and the somnolence of real estate buyers. (More likely, it's their crappy taste that drives the impoverished imaginations, but because it would probably be easier to wake'em up than to change their aesthetics, I would rather think that they are simply asleep.)

Nice voice, BTW -- and eerily like I have always "heard" it. And I like how you pronounce my blog-name; I have always thought of myself (boringly) as Mrs Oh-oh-tee-Eff-Pee. Erm, I mean "eerily" in a _good)_ way *grin*
